Come with a passion,
leave with a mission.

The Missionary Disciples Institute (MDI) is a great opportunity for you (rising sophomores to rising seniors) to live on Marian University's park-like campus and join a community of other high school leaders from around the country. You will spend a week of your summer with other students who are passionate about living their faith and are seeking new ways to serve as missionaries in their communities through the church. Limited to only 75 participants, MDI will surround you in intentional community to grow as a leader.

What happens at MDI?

Each day is different at MDI. We have themes that guide us each day. Some days have a strong focus on track time, other days focus on service or community, but no matter what the theme is for the day, here is what you can expect each day at MDI: dynamic moments of prayer, daily Mass, nationally known keynote speakers, track time with theology faculty, fun and games in the quad, hikes in the Nature Preserve (Ecolab), mentorship from MU college students, and small group reflection time each night. Every experience is leading you to discern and write a mission plan to bring back to your church community.

Step one is applying for MDI. We are limited in how many students can attend and, therefore, require you to go through an application process.

After you apply, we will be in contact with you about being accepted.
