With a foundation that's firmly rooted in Franciscan values, we're proud to be the only Catholic university in Indianapolis. But we welcome students of all faiths, creeds, and beliefs on our close-knit, inclusive campus that includes students from 45 states and 23 nations around the world.

Our classes are strenuous and our academic reputation is strong. And with a student-to-faculty ratio of 14 to 1 and  152 full-time faculty, you'll find professors who are ready to help you dig deep and accomplish more than you ever thought possible.

  • Business students have opportunities to work with top Indianapolis business executives and civic leaders from their first semester of classes through graduation.
  • Take a photography class (or complete the minor) and receive personal instruction from a Pulitzer Prize-winning photojournalist.
  • Biology, chemistry, and other science students have opportunities to conduct research alongside internationally respected faculty.

These are just a few examples of the academic opportunities you'll have a Marian. Whether you major in accounting, education, engineering, math, nursing, or any one of dozens of other options, you'll graduate career-ready and prepared for life after graduation.
