Earning a B.S. in Business Management degree is an excellent choice for students who want careers with a focus on planning, organizing, leading, and controlling the activities of a business.

Our program will expose you to the broad variety of challenges facing managers in today's marketplace using both classroom and hands-on learning experiences. 

Course requirements: Bachelor of Science Degree (B.S.) in Management

You'll complete 39 credit hours from our experiential business core plus 18 hours from electives.

  • FIN 411: International Finance

Choose four management electives:

  • BUS 262: Foundations of Entrepreneurship
  • BUS 325: Business Creation and Development Consulting

  • BUS 351: Human Resources Management
  • BUS 352: Organizational Behavior
  • BUS 372: Creativity and Change
  • BUS 395: Applied Managerial Decision Making
  • BUS 450: International Business
  • MIS 330: Project Management
  • FIN 311: Advanced Corporate Finance

Required capstone course:

  • BUS 430: Strategic Leadership

Employment outlook

There are a variety of job opportunities for management graduates. Many of our graduates enter management training programs in the retail industry. Other opportunities include positions such as purchasing managers, buyers, and purchasing agents, administrative services managers and facilities managers. Demand is expected to be strong with double digit growth over the next 10 years.
