Byrum School of Business Academic Programs

As a Byrum School student, you can choose from:

Note that if you major in a subject other than business, you can add a minor in business to your plan of study.

Our business students complete a 39-credit common core of business courses in addition to required and elective courses related to their major.

In addition, all Marian University students complete general education courses that enable you to build a strong overall intellectual foundation. In these courses, you'll focus on building knowledge and skills like:

  • Written communication
  • Speaking and listening
  • Quantitative reasoning
  • Scientific knowledge
  • Behavioral and social knowledge
  • Humanistic and artistic knowledge
  • Ethics, faith, and foundations of thought
  • Broad integrative knowledge and greater depth in at least one field outside your first major

Questions about our academic programs? Contact us. We're happy to explain why the Byrum School of Business is where business happens.
