Byrum School of Business Academic Programs
As an undergraduate student at Marian University, you will complete general education courses designed to provide you with a strong intellectual foundation. You'll focus on building knowledge and skills like:
- Written communication
- Speaking and listening
- Quantitative reasoning
- Scientific knowledge
- Behavioral and social knowledge
- Humanistic and artistic knowledge
- Ethics, faith, and foundations of thought
- Broad integrative knowledge and greater depth in at least one field outside your first major
As a Byrum School student, you can choose from five intentionally designed academic majors, two minors, and six concentrations that are built on an experiential learning platform. If you do not major in business, you can add a minor in business to your major plan of study.
All students majoring in business complete a 39-credit common core of business courses in addition to courses that are specific to their major.
