The forum will feature presentations on HEC’s legislative priorities for the 2010 session of the Indiana General Assembly.
The Hoosier Environmental Council (HEC) addresses Indiana’s major environmental challenges through education and advocacy. In preparation for the 2010 Indiana legislative session, HEC has organized its second annual Green Policy Forum. The forum will feature presentations on HEC’s legislative priorities for the 2010 session of the Indiana General Assembly, which include: clean energy; public transit, forestry protection, and sustainable agriculture. It will also offer participants the opportunity to learn about effective citizen engagement and the legislative process.WHAT:Green Policy ForumWHEN:Saturday, November 14, 2009

During the forum, you will also get a look at the winning entries in HEC’s first-ever Green Energy NOW! video contest; new HEC board members will be announced; and HEC will recognize a number of outstanding organizations, communities and individuals that have made great progress in addressing Indiana’s environmental challenges.
