Application Process for Transfer Students

We make admission decisions for transfer students on a rolling basis, so you can apply any time. In most cases, applications received AFTER these dates will be considered for admission the following semester.

  • Fall semester: Apply before August 1
  • Spring semester: Apply before December 9

After we have received your application and all official transcripts, our transfer team will contact you within one to two weeks with an admission decision.

How to Apply

  • Complete the free application for admission to Marian.
  • Submit official academic transcripts.
  • We offer scholarships for transfer students, including the ASAP Ivy Tech Scholarship, Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship, and the American Honors Scholarship. You do not need to formally apply for these scholarships—you will automatically be considered when we receive your admission application. If you are awarded a scholarship or other financial aid from Marian University, you will receive an award letter from us with more details.
  • Once your application is complete and you have been accepted, take the next steps to enroll for classes.
  • If you have questions about your transcripts or the status of your application, contact us at admissions@marian.edu, (317) 955-6300, or (800) 772-7264.
