Claire is a 2005 graduate of Clay High School in South Bend, Indiana. Upon graduation she began her college career at Holy Cross College in Notre, Dame, Indiana. Claire planned to attend Holy Cross for two years and then transfer (ironically enough) to a university in Austin, Texas. However, Claire ended up falling in love with the Holy Cross community and decided to complete her schooling at Holy Cross, where she was quite active on campus. Claire served as a student ambassador in the Office of Admission for all four years of her college career. During this time, Claire’s passion for assisting students on their college search ignited and she knew she wanted to build a career in enrollment management. She served on the Student Government Organization for three years as secretary. She served as vice president and president of the Social Concerns Committee. She traveled to Ghana, Africa as part of the international immersion experience. Additionally, Claire participated in alternative spring break and assisted in building a Habitat for Humanity house in Louisiana. In 2008, Claire earned her Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies.
Upon graduating from Holy Cross College Claire joined Teach For America and served as a fourth grade teacher in lower income community schools. While teaching full time, Claire was also a full-time graduate student and earned her Master of Arts in teaching degree at Marian University in 2010. Claire decided to transition out of the classroom into higher education and started her career at Marian in 2012. Claire enjoys working with transfer students and assisting students on their educational paths.
