A native of Indiana, Kiley fell in love with Marian University when she toured the campus as a senior in high school. Spoiler alert: she hasn’t left since! This stunningly beautiful campus located only 25 minutes from her hometown of Lebanon led Kiley to #MakeItMarian before hashtags were even a thing. Inspirational faculty like Philip Kern, Kristopher Steege, and Jeannie Bowling provided Kiley with a unique opportunity to continue her interests in musical theatre while also supporting her four-year track to a Bachelor of Science in Marketing degree, where she would ultimately market a product she was most passionate about—Marian University!
This former student ambassador flourished into a career in college enrollment to her current role as the senior associate director of admission. While it’s easy to come to work every day when you love what you do, Kiley enjoys the prospective student event days the most.
Kiley has a soft spot for a special student group on campus; the university’s cheerleading team. She has been the head coach since 2010 and considers them an extension of her family. Kiley made MU history in 2012 as the first cheerleading coach to ever take a cheer team to an NAIA national championship football game. As a coach, Kiley knew it was her job to be a positive role model and to change student’s lives but little did she know they would be changing hers.
A graduate degree is now in progress through Indiana State University Bayh College of Education to enhance Kiley’s career in higher education. Both Kiley and her husband Dan, who is also a Marian University alum, hope to see you on campus the next time they are there playing frisbee with their two dogs, Piper and Kitt.
I get to invite prospective families to a place I consider my home. This place does something to you and you’ll never be able to experience through a brochure.”
