M-Club Recognition Dinners 

M-Club Student-Athlete Recognition Dinners

During each season of the academic year, the Marian College M-Club sponsors a series of recognition dinners honoring the student-athletes who put forth their time and effort for Marian College athletics.

Each dinner consists of a short reception and a full meal as well as a program recognizing the student-athletes on each team with a Certificate of Participation, recognizing the top athletes with a quartet of awards for each sport, and recognizing the student-athletes who have devoted four years to Marian College athletics.



Fall 2008 M-Club Recognition Dinner
Men's and Women's Tennis and Men's and Women's Cross Country

The first dinner of 2008 was on November 15, 2008, and the M-Club recognized the men's and women's tennis and men's and women's cross country teams. Director of Athletics Joe Haklin emceed the dinner and M-Club Co-Director John Finke gave the keynote address.

Each team awards a Most Valuable Player and a Most Improved Player award alongside two awards designated by the sport coach. Each coach also awards a plaque to their four-year award-winners. The awards were given to the following student-athletes:

Fall 2008 M-Club Recognition Dinner - Football

The third dinner of 2008 was on November 23, 2008, and the M-Club recognized the football team. Director of Athletics Joe Haklin emceed the dinner and Dave Jongleux gave the keynote address. 

The team has nine awards that are handed out including a Most Valuable Player and Academic Award. Each position coach awarded their student-athlets a plaque commemorating their accomplishment. The awards were given to the following student-athletes:
