About the Coaching Staff

Head coach John Shelton is a graduate of Indiana University (BA and MS) and is in his 17th year as head coach. John is also the Dean for Financial Aid and Enrollment at Marian College.

He has been recognized as the Mid-Central College Conference Coach of the Year on nine occasions (1993, 1994, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2004, 2006).

He was also named the 2000, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2006, 2007 NAIA Region VIII Coach of the Year, President of the NAIA Men's Golf Coaches Association in 2003 and NAIA coach for the World University Games in 2004.
