INDIANAPOLIS - The Marian College men's soccer team was facing a three-match losing streak that has yielded just one goal as MCC foe Taylor came to town on Wednesday night. The Trojans scored the winner late to hand the Knights their fourth straight defeat and second straight by a 1-0 score line.

 

The Knights are now 3-7-0 on the season and 0-3 in conference play.

 

The Knights had their best chances in the first half while Taylor controlled possession in the second half. That possession resulted in the match's only marker and the 1-0 win.

 

Senior Brad Sontag (Plainfield, Indiana/Plainfield) was stellar in goal until the tally in his second start of the season.

 

The Knights head to Cedarville University on Saturday with the match slated for a 7 p.m. start.
