CEDARVILLE, Ohio - The Marian College men's soccer team has been suffering from a goal-scoring drought as of late, and Saturday night was no different. The Knights fell to Cedarville, 2-0, on the road due to a pair of second half goals.
Cedarville scored at the 76:20 and 79:15 marks and held the Knights to just five shots, one on goal, in the match.
Senior Brad Sontag (Plainfield, Indiana/Plainfield) made five saves on Saturday night to lead the Knights.
Marian College looks to break its four-match scoreless streak and five-match losing streak when Grace College comes to the Marian College Multi-Purpose Athletic Facility on Tuesday night. The match is scheduled for 7:30 p.m., with the seniors being honored prior to the match.
