INDIANAPOLIS - The Marian College women's basketball team picked up its ninth straight win on Saturday with a 77-40 victory over Mount Mary College at the Physical Education Center.

 

The Knights improved to 9-0 on the season.

 

Senior Whitney Frame (Lynn, Indiana/Randolph Southern) led the Knights with 14 points while freshman Courtney Wesner (Chalmers, Indiana/Frontier) added 11 points for the Knights.

 

Senior Jessica Carr (New Castle, Indiana/New Castle) had 11 points while junior Molly Lauck (Greenwood, Indiana/Center Grove) added nine points and a team-high six rebounds.

 

Freshman Jessica Johnson (Clarksville, Indiana/Clarksville) added five assists for the knights.

 

The Knights continue their home stand when they host Kuyper College, which they defeated 68-34 on the road earlier this season, on Monday afternoon at 3 p.m. The game is part of a doubleheader at the Physical Education Center.
