The Knights were able to extend their lead to as high as 12, 48-36 with 8:25 to go in the game, and Rose-Hulman could only get to within six, 48-42 with 5:26 to go, before the Knights closed out the game with a 10-5 run to complete the 58-47 victory.

Senior Whitney Frame (Lynn, Indiana/Randolph Southern) led three Knights in double figures with a game-high 18 points, had a game-high three assists, and three steals.

Junior Molly Lauck (Greenwood, Indiana/Center Grove) nearly notched her first career triple-double after she scored nine points and grabbed a game-high nine rebounds, four on the offensive end.

The Knights lit the net on fire in the first half after they shot 56 percent (15-for-27) from the field, but cooled down in the second half and shot just 29 percent (8-for-28) in the second frame.

The Knights stay on the road when they head to Gary, Indiana, to take on the IU-Northwest RedHawks. Marian defeated IU-NW, 83-53, at home earlier this season. Tip-off is slated for 7 p.m. (6 p.m. in Gary, Indiana).
