The Knights improved to 18-5 overall and 6-4 in the Mid-Central College Conference.

A slow start saw the Knights fall behind by five, 13-8, over the first 7:48 of the game. Grace was able to maintain a three to five-point lead until the 8:35 mark when the Knights tied the score, 20-20, on a layup by junior Molly Lauck.

The Knights carried a three-point lead, 33-30, into the locker room thanks to a layup by junior Megan Egenolf. The Knights shot 41 percent (14-for-34) from the field in the first half.

After Grace scored the first bucket of the half, the Knights went on a 4-0 run to take a five-point lead, 37-32, with 17:14 to go. Grace cut the lead back to three, but the Knights were able to push it to seven, 41-34, with 15:39 to go.

With the score 41-38, the Knights went on a 9-2 run over the next 4:17 to take a 10-point lead, 50-40. The Lancers would not quit as they cut the gap to two, 55-53, on a three-pointer with 5:56 remaining.

An 8-0 Knights' run pushed the lead back to 10, 63-53, with 3:42 to go, but the Lancers would cut it to four, 63-59, with 1:40 remaining. The Knights outscored the Lancers 8-2 over the final 1:40 to pick up the 71-61 victory.
