INDIANAPOLIS - The Marian College women's basketball had a pair of its players honored on Sunday as two seniors were named All-Conference honorable mention for their contribution to a great season in 2008-09.

Fifth-year senior
Whitney Frame (Lynn, Indiana/Randolph Southern) and senior
Jessica Carr (New Castle, Indiana/New Castle) were both named All-MCC honorable mention after both players had solid campaigns.
Frame averaged a team-high 11.9 points per game and became the 10th player in Marian College history to surpass 1,000 career points. She averaged a team-high 1.6 steals per game and averaged 3.1 rebounds per game in her final season at Marian College.
Carr nearly averaged a double-double in her senior season after she had the second-best scoring average with 9.8 points per game and a team-high 8.4 boards per game. She currently sits in second in single-season rebounding and is 12 short of becoming the all-time single-season rebounds leader.
The Knights had a spectacular start to the 2008-09 season by opening the campaign with a 15-0 overall record and a 4-0 record in MCC play. The Knights finished the regular season 19-11 and 7-9 in MCC play, but head to Indiana Wesleyan on Tuesday night as the No. 6 seed for the MCC Tournament
