Returning Students: Live On-Campus
Select a Room in a Residence Hall - Students Under 21
Applications are currently open for the 2024-25 academic year.
If you are a returning student who wants to live on campus for the 2024-25 year, you should complete your room selection online in March of 2024.
- For more information and assistance, download the Room Selection Instructions and click here for more information on residence hall options for returning students.
- If you have questions or concerns, contact Residential and Commuter Life at housing@marian.edu or (317) 955-6318.
Step One: Complete Your Application(s)
Step Two (Optional): Create a Roommate Group
- After you complete your application, on the left side of the screen, click Roommate Groups.
- Click the link to create a new roommate group. Give the group a name, and add roommates using their email addresses. You must have the exact email address that is listed in their eRezLife application, they must have completed an application for 2024-2025, and they must be the same gender.
- Click save.
- Once the roommate group is created, all group members must select the specific group as “my choice” to pull one another into a room or suite during room selection
- If you do not create a roommate group or choose a group to be "my choice" you will be matched with a roommate after room selection ends.
Step Three: Select Your Room
Room selection is based on and prioritized by when you started college as a full-time student. The breakdown by term is:
- Seniors: Started Fall 2020 or earlier
- Juniors: Started Fall 2021
- Sophomores: Started Fall 2022
- Freshmen: Started Fall 2023 or Spring 2024
Room selection is available at these times (9 a.m. on specific date):
- Current seniors: Tuesday, March 19
- Current juniors: Thursday, March 21
- Current sophomores: Tuesday, March 26
- Current freshmen: Thursday, March 28
On Campus House Applications - Students 21+
The application process for the on campus houses happens separately from the room selection process.
- Students must fill out the general on campus housing application on eRezLife first.
- There is an additional application students complete for the campus houses. Applications for campus houses are due February 26, 2024. Offers will be extended on March 6 and students have until March 11 to accept or decline their assignment by having one person in roommate group email housing@marian.edu.
- Students who are not assigned to a house, or decline their assignment, are able to participate in the general room selection process and choose a room in a residence hall.
- Students must create a roommate group of 2-5 people total to be considered for a house assignment. All students in the roommate group must meet the following qualifications for the group to be eligible for a house or apartment:

Single Room Applications
Single rooms are available as a disability or medical accommodation. Medical singles may be requested by contacting the
Personalized Learning Center at PLC@marian.edu. You will not be able to select these rooms during the room selection process. Be sure to sign up for a double room while your single request is being processed to ensure you have a space on campus. If you have already been approved for a medical single, you do not need to participate in room selection. A room that fits your accommodation will be assigned to you during the summer.
