After you have posted a position on KnightWork and interviewed candidates, you must indicate to The Exchange that you have hired the student employees so we can prompt the cleared-to-work process. Engage the following steps:
- Either go to the job applications on KnightWork and mark the applicable students as "hired," or contact The Exchange to notify us of which students you hired. Note that students must apply for a position on KnightWork to be considered for campus employment.
- Instruct your new hires to visit The Exchange during business hours to receive a cleared-to-work card. From there, they will take the orange work card to HR to fill out their paperwork.
- Do not allow your student employees to begin work until they present an orange card with a signature from HR as evidence of their completed hiring paperwork. Students will receive instructions from HR regarding online hour tracking and setting up their ADP account.
