Networking Knights - Help Students Build their Networks

Hiring a Marian University Intern

Students from some disciplines at Marian University require internships to be processed through KnightWork. In order to support your intern in achieving academic credit for his or her work at your organization, please keep the following in mind:

  • The internship must be posted on KnightWork using the above steps to register as an employer. Be sure to mark the position as an internship, not a full-time or part-time position.
  • After the student applies for the position, you must go to Jobs - Job Postings to view your internship position. Click on the Applicants button to the right of your screen. Then choose "Offer Position" for the student(s) you wish to hire.
  • At the conclusion of the internship, you will be asked to complete a performance evaluation for the student. Please offer quality feedback, both for the student and for The Exchange so we can better support our interns in the future.

If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to contact The Exchange.
