Society for Human Resource Management Chapter Receives Merit Award

Marian University's student chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) recently received the 2010-11 Merit Award for outstanding programs, activities, and levels of participation during the academic year.
Marian University's student chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) recently received the 2010-11 Merit Award for outstanding programs, activities, and levels of participation during the academic year. Kathy Marra, assistant professor of human resources, and three representatives from the student chapter travelled to Las Vegas on June 23-29 for the national SHRM conference. Lori Braun, a management major in Marian's Adult Programs, and two traditional undergraduate students in the Clark H. Byrum School of Business: Thomas Cruz, a business major, and Aimee Flaherty, a business major, accompanied Marra.
