Life Science Education Center Receives CILC Pinnacle Award

The Life Science Education Center at Marian College was one of 13 organizations across the country to receive the CILC Pinnacle Award.
The Life Science Education Center at Marian College was one of 13 organizations across the country to receive the CILC Pinnacle Award. CILC, the Center for Interactive Learning and Collaboration, is a non-profit organization that supports and advances education through videoconferencing and other collaborative technologies. CILC offers access to quality professional development, student educational content, and consulting and technical assistance. Presented annually, the award is based on teacher evaluations submitted through the CILC web site and recognizes outstanding performance by an educational content provider. In addition to the Life Science Education Center at Marian College, other award winners include Michigan State University Museum, Cleveland Museum of Art, and NASA’s Digital Learning Network. About the Life Science Education Center (LSEC) at Marian College: LSEC provides science education programming for schools across the nation. It encourages hands-on learning and active exploration of the life sciences and is a leader in providing standards-based, interactive, supplemental life science education experiences for pre K-12 learners.
