Marian University Today Book Explores the Past and Present of this Charming Campus

by Katie Bradley | Nov 04, 2013

The Marian University Today Book, published earlier this year, is now available online. The book includes beautiful photos of the university’s landmarks and interesting information about the university’s past, present, and future.

The Marian University Today Book was inspired and shot by local photographer Steve Baker, who grew up in the area and has always admired Marian University and the beauty of the campus.

“I created the book to motivate people to go and enjoy the campus. It is a unique and welcoming place and the book conveys that,” said Baker. “I grew up a field away from Marian University, spending my childhood exploring the property. I am a product of Franciscan values, graduating from St. Michael’s Grade School. For 45 years, I have enjoyed witnessing the ever-changing landscape of Marian University.”

The book can be purchased online or in the book store in the Mother Theresa Hackelmeier Library on the campus of Marian University.
