Marian University received the lead gift from Michael A. Evans. His gift of $48 million, previously anonymous, was made public on August 24, 2011. To honor him, the building that houses the College of Osteopathic Medicine and the School of Nursing was named the Michael A. Evans Center for Health Sciences.

OPTI Partnership

MU-COM is an academic partner of the Osteopathic Postdoctoral Training Institution (OPTI) at Michigan State University (Statewide Campus System). SCS has 37 member institutions offering predoctoral and postdoctoral training for osteopathic students and residents.
