Mark W. Senter
Mark Senter served as Mayor of Plymouth, Indiana, the Crossroads of Northern Indiana and the County Seat of Marshall County, for 16 years, first elected in November of 2007 and retiring December 2023. Plymouth is a city of more than 11,000 citizens in north central Indiana on the banks of the Mighty Yellow River.

Prior to his time as Mayor, Mark grew up on the northwest side of Indianapolis. After college he was hired as an Indiana State Police Trooper. He patrolled the road and highways until being promoted to detective in 1987. He served a total of 28 years working out of the South Bend and Bremen, Indiana posts. His detective career was dotted with numerous high-profile homicide cases in Marshall, St. Joseph, Elkhart, and Kosciusko Counties.

Mayor Mark’s civic engagements include involvement in Washington Elementary PTO, 12 times on stage with Culver’s Maxinkuckee Players Civic Theatre with four lead roles, service on the Marshall County Blueberry Festival Board for six years, and many years of service as Boy Scouts of America Cubmaster and Scoutmaster and on the Eagle Scout Crossroads of America.

Mayor Mark’s work has been recognized by Governor Eric Holcomb with The Sagamore of the Wabash Award in December 2023. Since then, the City of Plymouth renamed the bandshell at River Park Square to Senter Stage, a nod to the popularity of Mayor’s Month of Music which began in 2015. Finally, Mayor Mark will be honored with the Boy Scout’s of America Soaring Eagle Award later this month. Mayor Mark is proud to have earned his Associate of Science degree in criminal justice from Vincennes University in May 1976. Marian University recognizes Mark W. Senter by bestowing upon him the Doctor of Public Service. Mayor Mark celebrates this distinction today with his wife, Leanne Senter.

Claire J. Fiddian-Green
Claire J. Fiddian-Green serves as the President of the Richard M. Fairbanks Foundation, a private foundation whose mission is to advance the vitality of Indianapolis and the well-being of its people.

Prior to her time at the Richard M. Fairbanks Foundation, Fiddian-Green served as Special Assistant for Education Innovation to Indiana Governor Mike Pence and Co-Founder of the Center for Education and Career Innovation. She also served as the founding Executive Director of the Indiana Charter School Board, a statewide charter school authorizing agency. Prior roles include President of The Mind Trust, Grants Officer for the Richard M. Fairbanks Foundation, and Senior Analyst within Eli Lilly & Company’s Corporate Finance Investment Banking group.

Fiddian-Green’s civic engagements include service on the Board and Executive Committee of the Indy Chamber, where she also chairs the Health Policy Council. She serves on the boards of the Mitch Daniels Leadership Foundation, Central Indiana Corporate Partnership, Regenstrief Institute, and CareerWise USA.

Her work has been recognized by the Indianapolis Business Journal (Indiana 250 and Women of Influence) and Community Fairbanks Recovery Center (Circle of Hope Award).

Claire is proud to have earned her Bachelor of Arts from Brown University and a Master of Business Administration from Columbia University.

Marian University recognized Claire J. Fiddian-Green by bestowing upon her the Doctor of Educaiton.

Claire celebrates this distinction today with her spouse, Troy Hege.
