Alpha Delta Sigma

Alpha Delta Sigma (ADS) is a national honor society sponsored by the American Advertising Federation (AAF) to recognize and courage academic achievement related to the study of advertising.

In fact, ADS is the only national professional advertising group for college students studying advertising in America.

Eligible students are nominated in the spring semester and are inducted in a special awards ceremony in April. Inductees receive a certificate of membership and red and white honor cords to wear at graduation. Members are recognized in the official university commencement program.

To be eligible for the ADS Honor Society, you must:

  • Be a dues-paying member of the AAF Marian University student Chapter
  • Be nominated for membership
  • Have a minimum 3.25 GPA within your major and overall at the university level
  • Have achieved senior status and have completed at least two upper-level advertising courses

Marian University students recognized as part of Alpha Delta Sigma’s 2018 class are:

  • Cori Lane
  • Dominic Ravotto
  • Ellen Kolb
  • Stephanie Purdy
