New Student Orientation - First-Time Freshmen

Beginning your college journey is a huge step and can sometimes be a nerve-racking transition. Through New Student Orientation, we've got you covered. Not only will we help you feel more comfortable, connected, and at home on campus, but we'll also be here to make sure you complete all required steps for enrollment so you're ready to hit the ground running when you return for the start of classes.

Spring 2025 Students

Registration for our winter virtual program will open in October. To register, please click here to select our January 3 virtual orientation on the Events page.

Fall 2025 Students

Registration for our summer programs will open in January. To register, please click here to view all of our available orientation dates on the Events page. 

First-time freshmen have the option to attend either a one-day or a two-day orientation this summer. By choosing a two-day program, you have the opportunity to stay in a residence hall, build more connections, and make memories with future classmates. If you'd like to learn more about the difference in these programs, we encourage you to check out our schedule page. All incoming freshmen are required to participate in New Student Orientation this summer.

2025 summer programs take place on the following dates:

  • Wednesday-Thursday, May 28-29, 2025 (two-day overnight orientation)
  • Friday, May 30, 2025 (one-day orientation)
  • Wednesday-Thursday, June 18-19, 2025 (two-day overnight orientation)
  • Friday, June 20, 2025 (one-day orientation)
  • Tuesday, July 15, 2025 (Virtual Orientation) - Only available to international & out-of-state students
  • Thursday, July 17, 2025 (Transfer day)
  • Friday, July 18, 2025 (one-day orientation)
