Why Study Agriculture?
Today’s agricultural landscape is changing dramatically with diversification in bio-technology, data management, plant and soil sciences, food science and production systems, animal science and nutrition, and agri-business and marketing. Marian University’s agriculture program prepares students to successfully integrate into a four-year agricultural university or go directly into a professional field. Marian agriculture students are introduced to agricultural business principles, animal science related systems, technology applications and food and biotechnology systems so they are prepared to work in various innovative agriculture related fields of employment.
