October 2, 2025

Swan Lake Resort
5203 Plymouth Laporte Trail
Plymouth, IN 46563

Reception: 5:30 p.m.
Dinner: 6:30 p.m.

As we begin our fifth year as Marian University’s Ancilla College, we are elated to gather in support of student scholarships and leadership. It is with these scholarships that we can fulfill our commitment to service and transformation. The students who benefit from these scholarships will develop professionally, personally, and spiritually, and will positively impact our community as they enter the workforce. Their talents will spur economic, social, and cultural growth in northern Indiana, like our mission dictates.

We are especially grateful for the support of our donors, because without them we would have no scholarships to celebrate. You are unequivocally impactful to the success of Marian University’s Ancilla College.

Changing Lives Ancilla Domini
Legacy of Service Honoree

In 1967, Micahel Leep entered the automobile industry as a salesman for McAnary Ford in Gary, Indiana. In 1973, Michael and his business partner, Van Gurley, had the opportunity to purchase their first automobile dealership—a Dodge franchise in Highland, Indiana. Later, in 1977, Michael and Van purchased a Buick franchise in South Bend, Indiana.

Since then, Gurley Leep Automotive Group has grown to 15 automotive retail franchises at 21 dealerships across Michiana, Northwest Indiana, Lansing, Davenport, Des Moines, St. Louis, and Northbrook—employing more than 1,100 people.

Additionally, Michael has served with or been involved in numerous charitable organizations supporting education, medical research, mental health support, mentorship, and homelessness. His commitment to giving back to the community aligns with the mission, vision and values of Marian University and the Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ.
