College 101: applying to Marian made easy

Applying to Marian University is your first step to becoming a Knight! We’re excited that you’re interested in furthering your education at the university. Marian offers a variety of undergraduate, online, pre-professional, graduate, and doctoral programs to serve a growing and diverse student body. We also recently announced that we will open a two-year college for the 2019-20 academic year in collaboration with Saint Joseph’s College.

Our quick and easy online application allows us to get to know you. In order to apply, you will determine what type of student you are. The options include High School; Undergraduate Transfer; Online; International; Graduate; Medical School; Nursing; and Non-degree or Re-admission. Once you’ve made that decision, you will create an online account to get your application started. Applicants who are admitted by October 15 each year are eligible for the most institutional grants and scholarships, so apply early.

Marian Application Checklist

• Request information about Marian University.
• Take a look at our degree listings to see what your intended major and minor will be at the university.
• Make a list of your involvement and achievements during high school or previous college experience.
• Check out our list of student organizations to see which ones you may want to join.
• Determine if you will be a full-time or part-time student.
• Review financial aid opportunities and apply for the FAFSA.
• Decide if you will live on campus or commute.
• Check off Admissions Requirements.
• Request transcripts from your high school or previously attended college.
• Schedule a campus visit or take a virtual tour.
