Housing Application for New Students

Please review our campus housing policy to learn more about the requirements for living on or off campus. We are excited to shift to a new housing application site in Fall 2024! 

New and incoming students will be able to submit their applications beginning Monday, March 11 via StarRez.  You will need to use your Marian email and password to log in.

Pay your $200 housing deposit here, complete your profile and application on StarRez, and create a roommate group (optional).

Whether you intend to live on or off campus for the 24-25 academic year, all new students must submit an application on StarRez. New Student Housing Instructions 24-25 can be downloaded for a detailed step-by-step guide.  Note that returning students follow a different process and should refer to their Marian email for instructions.

Triple Rooms, Single Rooms, and Room Assignments

If you would like to be considered for a triple room at a reduced cost, please note that on your application when asked. Students may be placed in a triple room regardless of preference due to occupancy levels.

A limited number of single rooms are available for students who need disability or medical related accommodations. Please contact the Personalized Learning Center (PLC) by emailing PLC@marian.edu to work on the accommodation process.  Depending on when you apply for housing you may be placed into a double room before you complete the accommodation application process with the PLC.  If approved for a single room, you will be reassigned from the double into a single.

You will receive your housing assignment based on when you submit your application and pay your housing deposit. Your assignment will be sent to your Marian University email address. On-campus housing applicants with paid deposits will be assigned to rooms as follows:

• Applications received before May 1 will be assigned before May 31.
• Applications received before June 1 will be assigned before June 30.
• Applications received before July 1 will be assigned before July 15.
• Applications received after July 1 will be assigned on a rolling basis.
