Student Media: The Marian Phoenix

Marian Phoenix LogoStudent Media is a place where students can get hands-on experience in both media production and Journalism. Our staff publishes bi-monthly on our website. We publish both creative media endeavors like podcasts and films and nonfiction journalistic pieces like feature stories and investigating reporting.

We also publish an end-of-semester magazine that showcases the staff’s written work for that semester.

Want to be part of our staff? Any student can join and contribute. Email the Student Media account at marianstudentmedia@gmail.com or contact the Student Media faculty advisor Dr. Marilda Oviedo at moviedo@marian.edu for more information.

Staff Meetings are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Times might change by semester depending on the staff’s needs. Check the website for more specific information.
