Latino Community Mental Health Concentration

The Latino Community Mental Health concentration prepares students who plan to work in community, pastoral, and social services within the Latinx community. The Spanish language skills and cultural competency will help students to pursue their professional goals in community and mental health areas with attention to language and cultural considerations.

Career Preparation

Graduates with this concentration have gone into fields such as:

  • Mental health/substance abuse counseling
  • Family care/domestic violence case management
  • Medical healthcare case manager
  • Bilingual legal advocacy
  • School-based support program
