The official academic transcript is a complete record of all coursework at Marian University (formerly Marian College). In accordance with federal law, the release of transcripts requires proper authorization. Currently enrolled students may access their unofficial transcripts at no cost through MUHUB.
The diploma serves as a ceremonial document, and the university does not retain copies. Once issued, the original diploma cannot be reproduced without a reprint order. Students who graduated in spring 2019 or later received a digital diploma, provided they had no outstanding financial obligations at the time of graduation. Starting in spring 2025, digital diplomas must be claimed within 90 days of graduation; failure to do so will require the student to place an order for the digital diploma to be sent. Diplomas will not be issued to students with unresolved financial obligations to the university.
Students are responsible for periodically reviewing their records to ensure accuracy. We encourage students to contact the registrar’s office with any questions or concerns regarding their academic records.

Effective July 2024, Marian University will no longer hold official transcript orders due to a financial hold.
Individuals who place a transcript order, and have a financial obligation with the university, can expect the order to be fulfilled within 10-15 business days. During those 10-15 business days, the university business office will attempt to provide the individual with a written confirmation of the account balance and offer a written payment plan to cover the full balance. If applicable, the business office will provide, in writing, the University’s collection process.
The business office will notify the registrar’s office when the review of the account has been fulfilled and will process the transcript order, regardless of account balance status after the business office review.
Marian University will add the following transcript comment to all transcript orders where a financial obligation to the university is still owed:
Not in good financial standing: as of the date of this document, student is not in good financial standing with the university.
The transcript comment will be removed once all financial obligations have been fulfilled.
Current students wanting to update their legal or chosen name must view and follow the detailed instructions HERE. All home/permanent address changes must be submitted in MUHUB under the user profile. When a change is submitted, there is a slight delay (5-7 business days) before the address will be officially updated in MUHUB. Students should update or confirm their address at least once a year but are encouraged to review it each semester.
