Elizabeth M. Petsche, JD, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Family Medicine and serves as the Senior Advisor to the Senior Vice President of Health Professions. Elizabeth earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. She then completed her Juris Doctor at Michigan State University College of Law.
Prior to coming to Marian, Elizabeth spent nine years at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine (MSUCOM), where she served as a course director, oversaw the delivery of the preclerkship curriculum and served on the Dean’s Executive Staff. While at MSUCOM, Elizabeth received a number of awards from students, including the golden apple and the distinguished lecturer award.
Elizabeth regularly presents at state and national conferences on topics ranging from legal issues in graduate medical education to ethical dilemmas in medicine.
