Jesse Clark, DO, joined the Marian University College of Osteopathic Medicine (MU-COM) faculty in July 2022. She previously served as the associate director of the Community East Family Medicine Residency and the clinical chairperson of family medicine at MU-COM.
She is originally from Terre Haute, Indiana. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Indiana University-Bloomington. She then attended medical school at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri. She returned to Indiana to complete her Family Medicine residency at Union Hospital in Terre Haute.
Her clinical interests include women’s health, LGBTQIA+ health, and outpatient family medicine. She completed a faculty development fellowship at the University of North Carolina in 2015-16. She was one of three nationwide American Academy of Family Physicians representatives in the inaugural cohort of Women’s Wellness through Equity and Leadership (WEL) project from 2018-20.
Student wellness during the progression through medical school into residency is one of her passions. She is also passionate about attention to diversity, equity, and inclusion through recruitment and retention.
Her main teaching responsibilities are as the clerkship director for third-year clerkship rotations and the third-year Professional Identity Formation series.
Dr. Clark and her husband, Neil, live in Fishers, Indiana, with their sons, Owen and Eli. She enjoys all things Disney, board games, traveling, and trying new foods.
