Bio

Elias Martinez was born and raised in Lepaterique, Honduras, and moved to the United States at the end of 2020. He is currently pursuing a double major in Nursing and Spanish, with aspirations of becoming a pediatric nurse. Elias is passionate about leveraging his bilingual skills to help a wider range of patients. He is deeply involved on campus, serving as the SGA representative for the Student Organization of Latinos (SOL), Vice President of the Association of Latino Professionals for America (ALPFA), a Resident Assistant, an Orientation Leader, and a mentor to Latino high school students. Elias loves sharing his culture, teaching Spanish, attending concerts, and spending quality time with his friends.
