Bio

Sarah Getman grew up in Mitchell, Indiana and graduated from Bedford North Lawrence High School in 2021. She is studying history, theology, and global studies with hopes of working in both ministry and academia. Sarah is involved on campus as a member of the San Damiano Scholars, Sophia (Philosophy) Club, and Knights for Life. She also enjoys singing with Marian University’s Sacred Choir. In her free time, Sarah loves to read, write, travel, and have philosophical conversations with her friends. Sarah’s favorite place on campus is the fountain at the St. Francis Colonnade. Her love for Marian stems from many of the university’s characteristics, but her favorite part of the Marian experience is the sense of community present on campus. Sarah is honored and excited by the opportunity to represent Marian as a Presidential Ambassador, and she looks forward to the many connections and memories she will create with the program.
