Latino Leadership Initiative

Our mission is to transform Marian University into the best option for our Latino students to become transformational leaders through an inclusive, welcoming and safe environment, that is rooted to our Catholic Franciscan tradition.

Our Programs

Latino Mentoring Program

This is an opportunity for current Latino students to serve as mentors in high schools in our surrounding communities. The mentors will share their own experiences as immigrants, international students, and college students, and their journey to pursue higher education.

Familias Unidas

Workshop series in Spanish for families to help them understand the education system in the US, cultivate community, and provide resources for student support.

Student Life

Students can apply for Latino scholarships to increase their financial support. Scholarships and awards are available upon admission. We have available full tuition, half tuition, and other grants.
