Marian University’s Initiative for Parish Renewal (Renovacion) equips pastoral leadership teams to transform Hispanic/Latino serving parishes into thriving missionary communities through theological education and innovative ministerial practices.
Participants will earn a certificate in Latino Pastoral Leadership through Marian University. Twelve different modules in two years. Hybrid method, ten modules online and two on Marian University's campus.
Creating Small Faith Communities
Participants will organize and lead five weeks of small faith communities that evangelize and engage in the methodology: see, judge, and act. These dynamic communities will create a culture of encounter, especially for those who live in the peripheries of the parish. This is where the Renewal Process begins.
Leading Through Spiritual RetreatsEvery parish community will host two retreats, inviting participants to pray, learn and grow in synodality. Retreats will take place during the season of Advent and Lent; these could be in English and Spanish. Marian University will facilitate the logistics and programming. Students will facilitate the experience for the larger community.

The festival Mariano is a full day where we will learn from each other and hear presentations from national leaders. Every leadership team will present their missionary commitment after the festival.
