Higher education is difficult to navigate. Students often wonder.....Which major should I choose? How does financial aid work? Will I get along with my roommates? What do I do when I have anxiety? Will I be safe away from my parents? How do I find a career after I graduate?

Little Frank’s Answer: He is honest about the challenges and opportunities all students face in their college journey so you can easily feel informed to make decisions. Little Frank and the dedicated faculty and staff at Marian have experience understanding college processes, the university social climate, and all the complex language used in higher ed; what is FAFSA again?!

Once admitted, start using your admissions checklist. Little Frank will help remind you to submit your deposit, register for orientation, and complete housing application. Look for texts, calls, mail, and emails from your admissions counselor.

Little Frank loves to award scholarships! It is important all students and parents know that 98% of all undergrad students receive institutional grants or loans. You can review scholarships and application deadlines on our website, but call or email your admissions counselor if you want to know about which scholarships you may qualify to receive.

Hello, parents! Let's be frank about safety on campus. We know you're a little nervous about your student's safety while they are away from home. It takes a village to raise a child, and we're here to help! Marian's Campus Safety officers, who are members of the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, patrol campus 24 hours a day! They can be reached by phone or using our Campus Shield app.

Not exactly. Let's be frank about financial aid. Sometimes, it can be confusing! What is the difference between a loan and a scholarship or what does it mean if it is one-year or renewable? We understand that you may not know what all of this means, but through an interactive award letter that is sent to every accepted student, Little Frank and the Office of Financial Aid will help you better understand how to read your financial aid package.

Jim Henson

Little Frank was designed and constructed by Jim Henson’s Creature Shop.
 
Jim Henson’s Creature Shop™ provides digital puppetry, animatronic creatures, animation, and soft puppets to the international film, television, theater, live event and advertising industries. Recent credits include Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock (Apple TV+), Duff’s Happy Fun Bake Time (discovery+), The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance (Netflix), Word Party (Netflix), and Earth to Ned (Disney+). Based in Los Angeles and New York with satellite shop capabilities internationally, the Shop is known for designing and building some of the world’s best-known characters including the Sesame Street puppets and the classic Muppets, as well as the iconic characters from Dinosaurs, Farscape, The Dark Crystal, Labyrinth, and many more. Other feature film credits include the highly anticipated Five Nights at Freddy’s, Where the Wild Things Are, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, and Five Children and It.
 
The shop is also known for its live performance work with artists like Coldplay, Cee Lo Green, Lady Gaga and Deadmau5.  A recipient of more than 9 Emmy Awards for its outstanding work building puppets for Sesame Street, the Shop also received an Academy Award for its visual effects work on the film Babe. Other awards include a Scientific and Engineering Academy Award for the Henson Performance Control System, a powerful custom-based interface for puppeteers, and an Emmy Award for its work in developing the Henson Digital Puppetry Studio, a patented control system technology that enables puppeteers to perform computer-generated characters in real time.

Spencer Lott
Spencer Lott is a SAG-AFTRA actor and voice artist. He has been the recipient of Jim Henson Foundation Grants for his original theatrical work. He has performed puppetry SNL, Hello Tomorrow! (Apple +), A Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood, America's Got Talent (Live at Radio City), Pineapple Playhouse (Nickelodeon/Youtube), Good Morning America, The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, The Today Show, Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade with The Muppets, Sesame Street, Fraggle Rock, and more.
