Marian University announced today that Evan Hawkins has been hired to serve as Executive Director of Facilities and Procurement. Hawkins will serve as the lead agent for all physical infrastructures on campus. He will be the primary point-of-contact for all senior administration on matters related to facilities and facilities operations, including development and management of procurement processes, inclusive of policy development and implementation. Hawkins will report to the Senior Vice President for Personnel, Finance, Facilities, and Technology.
Hawkins comes to Marian University from Tindley Accelerated Schools, Inc. in Indianapolis, where he served as the Chief Operating Officer. He previously held leadership positions with Indiana Department of Correction and the Law Offices of Scot W. Overdorf and Associates, P.C. He earned a bachelor’s degree from IUPUI, and an M.B.A. from Purdue University’s Krannert School of Management.
