Q&A with Erika Wise

Q: What is your favorite part of working at Marian University?

A: Of course, I love the work that I do, but it’s honestly the people that I work with. I work hard, and the people that I work with do too. It’s the people I encounter even just walking across campus. It’s a really great place to work. I feel like everybody cares.

Q: If Marian had a karaoke night, what would you be singing?

A: Probably something from The Sound of Music or Roberta Flack, Taylor Swift, Coldplay, Maroon 5. Also the song "Somewhere over the Rainbow"

Q: What are some of your hobbies?

A: Whenever I’m not working, I’m with my kids. I also like reading, crafting Christmas decorations, and learning about new technology.

Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?

A: I don’t really like traveling. The only place I really want to go is Hawaii. I've never been, but from what I've seen on the television, it seems like you can go there and be one with the universe.
