Q&A with Scott Jayne
Q: Are you originally from the Indianapolis area?
A: No, I’m originally from Michigan.
Q: What brought you to Marian University?
A: Opportunity, location, and growth. I was the general manager for a K-12 district in central Michigan, and I wanted to come back to higher education. We were looking to relocate closer to my wife’s family in Lafayette. The district manager drove me through campus, and I was sold.
Q: What is your favorite part of working at Marian?
A: The campus size. I get to experience growth and change, and students know you by name.
