INDIANAPOLIS — Greg Rawski, Ph.D. will serve as the dean of Marian University’s Clark H. Byrum School of Business, the university announced today. Rawski joins Marian from the University of Evansville, where he most recently served as Schroeder Family Dean and Endowed Chair in the Schroeder School of Business.
In his new role, Dr. Rawski will be responsible for: enhancing the quality of, and advocating for, the Byrum School; growing enrollment; building new academic programs; ensuring strong management and oversight of existing academic programs; effectively managing budgets; and strengthening external partnerships.
“Dr. Rawski’s experience and knowledge of Indiana’s higher education landscape make him the perfect fit for this position,” Alan J. Silva, Ph.D., Marian University’s executive vice president and provost, said. “I am confident that he will lead the Byrum School to the next level, expertly leveraging relationships with central Indiana’s business community for the benefit of all Byrum School students.”
While serving as the Schroeder Family Dean at the University of Evansville in 2018, Dr. Rawski recruited the Schroeder School’s largest business freshman class in 20 years. Over a 5-year period, the average starting salaries for Schroeder School graduates increased 20.7 percent to $50,700. Dr. Rawski earned his Ph.D. in Manufacturing Management and Engineering from the University of Toledo in 2005, a M.B.A. in International Business from the University of Toledo in 2000, and a B.A. in Business Administration from Bluffton University in 1998. He and his wife Lindsay have four children, ages 2-9. In his spare time, Rawski enjoys serving on the Good Shepherd school council, teaching children's literature at Mass, and coaching youth sports.
