The Department of Art and Design Juried Student Exhibition, juried by Amy MacLennan, MFA, will be on display in the Marian University Art Gallery located in the Michael A. Evans Center for Health Sciences from November 18-January 16, 2020. The exhibition will feature artworks created by Marian University Department of Art and Design majors and minors. An awards ceremony, jurors talk, and reception will be held on November 21, from 4-6 p.m. All of which are generously funded by the Talbot Street Art Fair and are free and open to the public.
Amy MacLennan is currently an associate professor of art and director of the McKendree University Art Gallery at McKendree University. Amy received her MFA in Painting and Drawing from Indiana State University. MacLennan has been the recipient of various grants and awards including a public art grant for The Gilbert Wilson Memorial Mural Project, Year of the River, exterior mural in Terre Haute, IN. Recently, she received the Nancy and Fred Nation Award of Recognition at 75th Annual Wabash Valley Exhibition at the Swope Art Museum in Terre Haute, IN.
The Marian University Art Gallery (Evans Center) is located on the north end of the second floor of the Michael Evans Center for Health Sciences on the Marian University campus.
