Once again, two Marian University seniors have been selected to the prestigious Orr Fellowship. Maresa Kelly ’19 and Rachel Moning ’20 were named Orr Fellows out of 1,300 applicants.
The two-year Orr Fellowship targets hardworking college seniors who want to hone their business and entrepreneurial skills while working a full-time, salaried position. Beyond job opportunities, fellows gain networking experience and a support system consisting of current fellows and fellowship alumni as they enter their first years in Indianapolis’ professional business scene.
Kelly is a communication major and member of the Marian University Speech and Debate team. Upon graduation, Kelly will begin her position at the host company TMap, a talent pipeline recruiting highly skilled individuals back to Indianapolis.
“I feel that the communication major along with the speech and debate team has truly prepared me to accomplish anything I set my mind to. I have gained mentors and allies that I know would help me achieve anything I put in the work to do,” Kelly said.
Moning, a marketing major and member of the women’s lacrosse team, will begin her position with the host company Lev after graduation in May. Lev is a marketing-focused consultancy that partners with Salesforce.
Fellows selected from Marian University in previous years include Amber Ferrari ’15, Emily Doll ’16, Hana Roessler ’17, Stephanie Purdy ’18, and Kylee Kasper ’19.
