Marian University's Byrum School of Business ranked in the top five among catholic schools in the Best Undergraduate Business Schools 2021 rankings by Poets&Quants, the leading online publication for undergraduate business education news. Other top 5 universities include, Georgetown University, University of Notre Dame, Villanova University, and University of San Diego.

The ranking is based on a representative survey of more than 6,100 alumni and school-reported data. Recent graduates across 93 schools were surveyed on aspects of faculty availability, extracurricular activities, and the accessibility of the alumni network. The Byrum School of Business ranked in the top 50 of all business programs, placing number 46 overall.
Marian University ranked in the top 25 of all business programs for employment outcomes, placing number 23. The average starting salaries for business school graduates is $55,458 with a 97% placement rate within six months of graduation. Every business student completes an internship before graduation, helping them develop a professional network.
