Ancilla College of Marian University is now enrolling students in a new Bachelor of Science in Nursing program, which will begin in fall 2021.
The new degree joins Ancilla’s current associate degree programs in agriculture, business, education, exercise science, liberal arts and veterinary nursing.
The campus-based nursing program provides training through general education curriculum grounded in the liberal arts, including a six-semester clinical rotation with local hospital partners in Marshall and surrounding counties. Students will have a variety of high-impact, hands-on nursing experiences, both in and out of the classroom.
“Marian University has a long history of training effective nurses through our faith-based education,” said Marsha Casey, senior vice president for health professions. “It is our mission to develop more transformational leaders who are prepared to make a positive impact in healthcare and the communities they serve. This program in Northern Indiana gives students a new option to pursue their calling to be a bachelor’s prepared nurse.”
