New Structure Aims to Improve College
Four new Marian University assistant deans are heading up Marian University’s College of Arts and Sciences, (CAS), in an effort to become more visible, prominent, and well understood by the university community and the communities the university serves.
Beginning July 1, 2022, the new structure and appointments include four new assistant College of Arts and Sciences deans:
“I am pleased our new deans will promote an innovative, interdisciplinary, and inclusive working environment that is forward-thinking,” said Marian University Executive Vice President and Provost, and Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences Alan J. Silva, Ph.D. He adds the four deans will strive for diversity, equity, and inclusion, and support the development of both academic programming and the faculty within their school.
In collaboration with the CAS Dean, assistant deans will also help create and implement the strategic plan for the College of Arts and Sciences
