Congratulations to Marian University's Assistant Professor Alexandra Tamerius, for her contribution to “Synthesis of the Candidate Topological Compound" following her published work in June 2022. 
Tamerius's work was published in the Journal of the American Chemical Society, a highly selective, top-tier chemistry journal. Her endeavor, according to its abstract states describes the impact of chemical substitutions on electronic structure features of importance for controlling topological behavior.
The study was completed in collaboration with investigators at multiple institutions including Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Northwestern University, and the Argonne National Laboratory.
